Artist Profile

Over the years I've come to realize how important the gift of sight really is to me. That realization grew in the last few years, after I had a few issues with my eyesight.

I remember that as a child, I already would be mesmerized by anything that God's creation had to offer. I was privileged to grow up on a farm with livestock, with great parcel of bush right next to it. The love for the cats and cattle, and any wildlife around grew with each year. My uncle was an accomplished photographer who gave me an old camera when I was 12, and that's where my hobby and passion was born.

In Psalm 104 we read about the wonders of God's creation, and humbled, I praise God and thank Him for the visual assurance we are allowed to witness every day:

How many are your works, LORD!
In wisdom you made them all;
the earth is full of your creatures.

God's creation has been a powerful reminder to me of God's grace. He has sustained me through much sorrow, with His Word, and with this beautiful world.

It is a huge privilege to live in a country where I so freely can share of God's creation through photography.

It also comes with the responsibility to do my little part to honour our Lord and Saviour to the best of my ability, and to strive for better.

Often I feel utterly falling short, but our Lord is a God of grace:

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast.
